I am currently overhauling my apartment... but my bedroom is needing some attention and love. I plan to change it all, I'm loving this silver/charcoal and purple scheme here. Its muted, but still sexy with the strong accents of black and purple. And what's not to love about the chandelier above the bed?
A chandelier in the bedroom is something the French have been doing for many, many years. It makes a bedroom feel romantic. I know for myself, I am always trying to find a balance between the feminine and masculine interior. With a variety of different textures and colours it helps create that balance.
I just installed this Kristaller chandelier from Ikea in our bedroom. The chandelier is so affordable (49.99), easy to install (given you know how to do the electrical wiring) and gives off a lot of light.
